The information is straightforward and the final exam is open-book. The majority of people pass the final exam on the first attempt. As per California DMV policy, one retake of the final exam is allowed (if needed), after two failed attempts your account is disqualified. You may take another traffic violator course if court continuance time allows.

The court will process the record as a confidential conviction per California Vehicle Code 1808.7, and it will only be used for statistical purposes by the department. The date shown on the certificate is your official completion date, which must be prior to your traffic school due date. The court normally processes and updates your record within one to two weeks. You can verify the citation status through the county superior court website ticket search.

Our California traffic school may be taken once every 18 months under California law, The driver is responsible to know whether they have used a California traffic violator school in the last 18 months. Our school follows a strict No Refunds policy, even if the court rejects the traffic school certificate. Please don’t ask – no exceptions. This course is not valid for commercial drivers operating commercial vehicles at the time of their violation.
